newswe thought it was about time we updated the website as we haven't done so for months. we've been really busy pitching and working on a campaign for a big european bank. we will upload stills as soon as we are allowed. In the mean time...
back in april we were approached to liven up the backgrounds of a promo, for uk band Captain, with some pretty animated bits in a paper cut-out style. these would then be tracked into the footage which had already been shot. so, we got out our sharpest photoshop scissors and with a little help from our friends we wove our particular brand of magic and gave life to a bunch of pixels for about 3 minutes. lovely.

we have just finished our first ad with not to scale and weiden & kennedy.
a sweet little 10 second stop frame job where a range of tasty grub bites chunks out of the observer book of food, getting fatter with every bite.
see the commercials section for stills. a movie will be uploaded soon.

we are now represented by not to scale for commercials and music videos. we're looking forward to getting stuck into new and exciting projects, if we can keep away from the many and wonderous distractions that london's fashionable soho has to offer.

ubik have just completed a 50 second short film for mtv.
we were given an open brief to make a film to highlight the effects of global warming. it was made, from live action shoot to final output, in just under 4 weeks so we didn't get much sleep. we did however get help from the ever reliable russ street and also james kirkham who helped with a bit of 3d modelling.
we would also like to give a special thanks to jonathan vuillemin for giving up his bank holiday weekend to get it rendered so beautifully for us, to tim green for his lovely photography, to graham staughton for literally making our earth move, and to inga millers for her patience as a producer.
head over to the commercials section for stills. a movie will be uploaded soon.
